Ok aside from Saori Oonishi's successful VA career, one thing I've always found weird about this type of premise anime is the camera that's always watching them. Is it automated... or some human is constantly just observing them? The latter would be pretty creepy in my opinion but I guess some things have to be done.

Oh and I guess on the flipside the childhood friend is Siesta, the MC doesn't need an introduction (happens to be present in Eromanga too though),

Seriously, though. Most rom-coms should have ended in less than ten chapters if the main characters managed to properly express their feeling.

That's a trope that ALWAYS irked me.

I get the average Japanese person isn't as outspoken as your average American, but there have been dozens of situations and misunderstandings (looking at YOU, Gamers), that could've easily been avoided, IF Y'ALL JUST F***ING TALKED IT OUT!!!

I genuinely understand their feeling, TBH. As Asians, it's hard for us to openly express our feelings; especially for teens.

But that doesn't mean I like this trope either. It's one of the overused tropes at the same level as Isekai MCs getting their OP power out of nowhere.

And substitute "out of nowhere" for getting their Gary Stu/Mary Sue isekai OP powers off a silver platter by doing absolutely f*** all. XD

Some isekai characters had to grind to get to where they're at. Like Rozemyne from Ascendance of a Bookworm, and Naofumi...even Subaru from constantly avoiding death.
